OBJECTIVE
Looking to repurpose this one-of-a-kind painting, BankBoston contracted us to reinstall this piece in a prestigious location of their Rhode Island headquarters in downtown Providence. This painting was originally the center piece of a 5 piece composition created by famed artist N.C. Wyeth, who was contracted by the client to paint a piece centered around shipping and trade at the turn of the century. The painting had been in storage at the Clark Art Institute as the building it was originally installed in had been demolished.
Careful consideration was given towards the new framework, made to replicate the original installation which was recessed into stone detailing.
